Garcia De Pico, Hermencia, age 70, of Wyckoff, on Sunday, November 21, 2021. Born in Manabi Portoviejo, Ecuador, Hermencia immigrated to the U.S. in 2000 settling in Little Ferry for 20 years. When she lived in Ecuador, Hermencia had a career as an art teacher. She was very artistic and enjoyed cooking, especially for her family. Hermencia’s family will remember her for her loving, caring, and generous nature. Hermencia was the beloved wife of Washington Pico for 56 years. Loving mother of Wilson Pico and his wife Yolanda of Little Ferry, Rosana Pico of Riverdale, and Ana Yesilyurt and her husband Iskender of Wyckoff. Grandmother of Alexander and Serkan. Daughter of Dimas Garcia and Clemencia Villavicencio. Sister of Alberto Garcia and his wife Aida, Staling Garcia and his wife Priscilla, Brigitte Garcia, Dunezka Rodriguez and her husband Francisco, Yulier Garcia, Pedro Garcia, and Patricia Garcia. Predeceased by her brothers Angel Garcia and Walter Garcia. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews in Ecuador, Panama, and Spain. Funeral will depart at 10:00am on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, from the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne, for a 10:30am funeral mass at Church of St. Anthony of Padua in Hackensack. Interment will follow at Cedar Park and Beth Israel Cemeteries in Paramus. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 6:00 – 9:00pm.
