<p>Linda (Doskus) Maher, 76 of Middletown passed away on Wednesday November 17, 2021 at Midstate Medical Center. Linda was born on October 28, 1945 in Brooklyn, NY. She was the beloved wife of the late David Maher for the last 27 years.&nbsp;</p> <p>Linda worked for Northeast Utilities for 20 years before retiring. She loved everyone she met and if she knew you, chances are you always received a Birthday card; one of the thoughtful things we will miss most about her. If you ever saw Linda, she always had her nails done with fun designs and 9 times out of 10, somewhere on her outfit would be something about her grandkids. She enjoyed spending time with her family and dog Maddy the most.&nbsp;</p> <p>Linda is survived by her sons; Bob Keegan and his wife Jamie of Meriden, Brian Maher and his wife Stephanie of New Jersey, Bill Keegan and his wife Maria of New Jersey, daughter; Linda Murphy and her husband Patrick of Ohio, grandchildren; Kassie Keegan of Meriden, Amanda Keegan and her partner Erik Carlson of North Branford, Ava Maher and Sophia Maher of New Jersey, Morgan Keegan and Liam Keegan of New Jersey, Chris Murphy and his partner Stephanie McGraw of Kentucky, and great granddaughter Ellie Murphy of Kentucky. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well as several friends. Linda was predeceased by her husband Dave who passed just 10 days prior; she truly had a broken heart and could not be on this earth without him. Linda was also predeceased by her parents Marjorie Reilly and William Doskus.&nbsp;</p> <p>The Luddy-Peterson Funeral Home, 205 South Main St New Britain, CT 06051 are assisting the family.
