Joseph R. Santoro, (83 years old), loving husband, father, grandfather was born

on April 3, 1938, predeceased by Frank and Lena Santoro, passed from this

earth on Sunday, November 21, 2021 surrounded by his family. He is survived

by his loving wife Donna Santoro of 59 1⁄2 years, daughters Mary Lee Santoro

(Dennis Palumbo), Francesca “Chessy” Santoro, Donna Lee Natale (Dan Natale,

Jr.), grandchildren Sydney (17), Lena (15), and Danny Natale (9). He grew up in

Port Chester, NY until the age of three and spent the rest of his life in Banksville,

NY. Joe was a graduating member of the Greenwich High School class of 1956.

He served in the Air National Guard stationed at Westchester Airport. He ran the

Marine Department at his family business, Willow Motors Sales of Port Chester,

NY. He enjoyed mechanics and repairing motors. Joe had a passion for antique

cars, boating and fishing. He was a proud and devoted member of the Banksville

Independent Fire Company for 50 years. He also enjoyed being a part of The

Gateway Antique Auto Club for many years running car shows, traveling to

events and gatherings. Joe and his wife loved taking vacations in Cape Cod,

spending time in Austerlitz, NY and enjoyed family dinners. He was very proud

of his family.

A mass to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at

1:30pm at St. Timothy’s Chapel Greenwich, CT.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to the Banksville

Independent Fire Company or the Banksville Community House.
