July 7, 1936 - November 20, 2021<br/> <br/>Jettie Sue Webster, 85, of New Hope, passed away Saturday. She was born on July 7th, 1936. She was a life long resident of New Hope, Alabama. She was born right into the middle of 15 brothers and sisters. Jettie married the love of her life, Harold Webster in Iuka, Mississippi on June 16, 1954. She was a loyal daughter, wife, sister, and aunt. Jettie spent her entire life loving on her nieces and nephews and their children as her own. She was known for spend the night parties, trips to the Smokies, rides to Bulter’s Mill, and other fun adventures. She loved to read the Bible where names can be found marked alongside scriptures that she would pray for her family. She had a laugh that was infectious and a smile that held some mischievousness. She will be remembered for her love and for her care of others. <br/><br/>She was preceded in death by her parents, Gertrude and BG Hunter; Husband, Harold Webster; Brothers: Alan, Dick, Sam, Tom, and Buddy Hunter; Sisters, Ethel (Tooter), Lorene, Mae, Jo, Mary Ellen, Gertha,and Barbara Ann. <br/><br/>She is survived by her sisters, Ida Belle Woody and Kay Davis both of New Hope, and by a host of nieces and nephews. <br/><br/>Visitation will be Monday 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Monday at 1:00 pm with Bro. Harold Kelly officiating. <br/><br/>Interment will be in the Whitaker Cemetery.<br/><br/>In lieu of flowers the family would like memorial donations to Whitaker Cemetery Fund, c/o Lou Ann Poole, 2354 Old Gurley Pk.<br/>New Hope, AL 35760 or the Alzheimer's Association.<br/><br/>www.nhfh.net<br/>
