Elizabeth A. Curry

Elizabeth Ann Curry, 78, of Jonesville, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021, at her home. She was born October 29, 1943, in Switzer, WV to Joseph and Thelma (Williamson) Robinette. She married Alonzo Curry and he survives. Elizabeth was a long-time housekeeper for many families in the area. She loved her work and took great pride in it. She also worked at Wal-Mart for several years. She also enjoyed cake decorating and interior decorating. She was very faithful, describing herself as a “God fearing Christian woman.” Elizabeth was a member of Little Marie Old Regular Baptist Church in Litchfield. Surviving besides her husband, Alonzo are six children, Sandra Jordan, Terry (Penny) Curry, Sally Ward, Alonzo Anthony (Karla) Curry, Rita (Warren) Taylor and Grace (Jared) Warejko; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Sandy Dale; and twin brother, Carl Robinette. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter in infancy, Geneva Curry; and 11 siblings. Funeral services for Elizabeth Curry will be held Monday, November 22, 2021, at 12:00 Noon at the Little Marie Old Regular Baptist Church in Litchfield. Burial will be held at Gillman Cemetery in Delbarton, WV at a later date. Visitation will be held Monday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church. Local arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Litchfield.
