Cathy L. Hipple ( Kline ), 68, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 20, 2021. She was at home and surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 12, 1953, in Lock Haven the daughter of Martha Kitchen ( Kline ) of Blanchard. Along with her Mother she is also survived by daughter, Jamie ( Travis ) Shade, son, Robert Workman all of Blanchard, and daughter Leslie ( Bryan ) Healy of Norristown. She also leaves behind her loving grandchildren, Emily ( Adam ) Shade, Seth ( Vanessa )Shade, and Joey Miller all of Blanchard , and a great-grandson, Cooper Shade also of Blanchard.

Cathy was a graduate of Lock Haven H.S. class of 1971. She was employed at Woolrich Woolen Mill, Blanchard, for many years. She retired from Penn State University in the College of Education after 20 years of service. She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church, Blanchard, as well as the Beech Creek Legion Auxillary. She also enjoyed spending time with her "grand dogs", Mickey, Frankie, Tucker, Bandit, Grizzly, and Stella.

Cathy will be remembered for her strength, bravery, determination, unwavering faith, and unconditional love. The highlight of her week  was playing cards with her beloved friends on Tuesdays.

A service celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Liberty Baptist Church, Blanchard with Rev. Dr. Chris Davis officiating. Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 23rd from 6-8 P.M at the church. Burial will be at Blanchard Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Liberty Baptist Church, P.O. Box 207 Blanchard, PA. 16826.
