<p>VILLE PLATTE &ndash; Funeral services will be held at a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 for Patsy Ann Stegall, 83, who passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 in Morgan City.</p> <p>&nbsp;Father Mitch Guidry will be celebrant of the Mass and will conduct funeral services.</p> <p>&nbsp;Burial will take place in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery.</p> <p>&nbsp;Patsy Ann Stegall was born in Ville Platte, Louisiana on September 16, 1938 to Moise and Ola Pitre and was a long-time resident of Morgan City.&nbsp; Patsy loved her family immensely and enjoyed spending time with them.&nbsp; She was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morgan City.</p> <p>Patsy worked for Anthony&rsquo;s Department Store, later known as Stage Department Store, until she retired after many years of service.&nbsp; She enjoyed Mardi Gras and was a member of the Crew of Galatea for many years.&nbsp; In her spare time, Patsy loved working in her yard tending to her beautiful plants and watching her favorite team, the New Orleans Saints.&nbsp; This loving lady will be greatly missed and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those that loved her.</p> <p>&nbsp;Patsy is survived by her daughter, Veronica Stegall and wife, Jennifer Hall of Denham Springs; two sons, Richard Stegall and wife, Mary Ellen of Youngsville and Samuel Stegall and wife, Terry of Morgan City; seven grandchildren: James Stegall, Maria Stegall, Patrick Stegall, Caleb Viator, Micah Viator, Kirstin Bousegard, and Coric Bousegard; and five great grandchildren: Sam, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Luna, and Lincoln.</p> <p>She was preceded in her death by her husband, Eugene Stegall;&nbsp;parents, Moise and Ola Pitre; brothers: Herschel, Wilford, Austin, Frank, and George Pitre; and sisters: Mona Joubert, Elaine Fontenot, and Rose Mary Pitre.</p> <p>&nbsp;At the request of the family, a visitation will be held at Ardoin&rsquo;s Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Monday, November 22 beginning at 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed in her honor Monday at 6:00 PM. &nbsp;Visitation will resume Tuesday at 8:00 AM until time of service.</p> <p>&nbsp;In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to the charity of your choice.</p> <p>&nbsp;Family and friends may leave condolences for the family at www.ardoinfuneralhomes.com.</p> <p>&nbsp;Ardoin&rsquo;s Funeral Home in Ville Platte is in charge of arrangements.</p>

VILLE PLATTE – Funeral services will be held at a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 for Patsy Ann Stegall, 83, who passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 in Morgan City.

 Father Mitch Guidry will be celebrant of the Mass and will conduct funeral services.

 Burial will take place in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery.

 Patsy Ann Stegall was born in Ville Platte, Louisiana on September 16, 1938 to Moise and Ola Pitre and was a long-time resident of Morgan City.  Patsy loved her family immensely and enjoyed spending time with them.  She was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morgan City.

Patsy worked for Anthony’s Department Store, later known as Stage Department Store, until she retired after many years of service.  She enjoyed Mardi Gras and was a member of the Crew of Galatea for many years.  In her spare time, Patsy loved working in her yard tending to her beautiful plants and watching her favorite team, the New Orleans Saints.  This loving lady will be greatly missed and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those that loved her.

 At the request of the family, a visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Monday, November 22 beginning at 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed in her honor Monday at 6:00 PM.  Visitation will resume Tuesday at 8:00 AM until time of service.

 In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to the charity of your choice.
