Robbinston – Kennetha Addelle Doten, 67, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021 at her home in Robbinston. Kennetha was born in Danvers, MA, on March 15, 1954, daughter of Ernest and Mildred Goulding. Kennetha grew up in Danvers, MA and graduated from Danvers High School, Class of 1972. She met and married Calvin Vitale and worked as a nurse until relocating to Red Beach in 1981. At that time she worked for Calais Regional Hospital in the Emergency Room and most recently as a nurse for Dr. Fardelmann and Dr. Kessler. Kennetha was very artistic and enjoyed coloring, puzzles, comic books, jewelry and playing cribbage and backgammon. She also loved watching YouTube videos and playing online games, becoming friends with people throughout the world. In addition to her parents, Kennetha was predeceased by a brother Ernest Gerard Goulding; and a sister Joy Goulding. Surviving are her son Shane Vitale of Robbinston; grandchildren, Jacob, Hannah, Ava and Lilliana; siblings Carla, Debbie, Alicia, Marty, Chris and Ellen; many nieces and nephews; and dear friends Norman and Michelle Johnson, Barbara Jensen Seymour, Babe Moholland, and Barbara Townsend and Joe Ohmesis. In keeping with Kennetha’s wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
