Vickie Lee Hillberry

Vickie Lee Hillberry, 67, of Owings, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 at United Hospital Center. She was born August 19, 1954 in Meadowbrook, a daughter of Theodore Crites of Clarksburg and the late, Barbara Gregory Crites.
In addition to her father, Vickie is survived by her loving husband, Michael Allen Hillberry, whom she married on December 14, 1985. She is also survived by her children, Melissa Lazorick of Owings; Michael Lazorick and his wife Miranda of Fairmont; Matthew Lazorick and his wife Tracy of Mannington; and Jamie Hillberry and his wife Melissa of Owings; her grandchildren, Jake Shingleton; Ashton Lazorick; Colton Shingleton and his fiancé Taylor Riley; Seth Hillberry; Natalee Lazorick; Angel Powell; Michael “Trey” Lazorick III; Lexi Lazorick; Aspen Cienawski; Bella Lazorick; and Bronson Lazorick; her brother, Theodore Crites II and his wife Cathy of Wallace; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Vickie was also preceded in death by her aunt and uncle, Rosetta and Wilson Moore.
Vickie lived for her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with them and cooking for them. She also enjoyed bowling and watching Days of Our Lives and Wheel of Fortune.
Friends will be received at Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St. Shinnston, on Tuesday from 2-8pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 24, with Pastor Chris Shingleton officiating. Interment will follow at the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
