Benjy Christian Pierce was born August 16th, 1977, to Greg and Mary Pierce in Waycross Georgia. Ben, his older brother Jason Pierce, and their younger sister Joey Pierce were raised in the mission field of Alaska. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was saved on February 8th, 1987, at ten years old. After accepting the call to preach at just seventeen, he has been in full-time ministry since 1995. He met his wife Aluna Pierce in 1995 while on a mission trip to Kazakhstan and they were married a year later in Lee County Virginia. He was also called to pastor his first church in Lee County Virginia as an 18-year-old young man. Ben and Aluna have five children together: Katerina Pierce (24), Anastasia Starr (22) married to Harrison Starr, Elisha Pierce (20) married to Taelor Pierce, Suzanna Pierce (11), and Natasha Pierce (8). Ben Pierce pastored and did mission work and evangelism all over the country and the world including in Virginia, South Carolina, Tennessee, North Carolina, Louisiana, North Dakota, Kentucky, Hawaii, Uruguay, Haiti, Kazakhstan, Germany, and Malaysia. With more than twenty years in formal education, he earned his Doctorate of Ministry in 2005 as well as two Bachelor’s degrees in Theology and Christian Counseling, a Master’s degree in Ministry, and a Master’s of Divinity. In 2018 he was commissioned as a First Lieutenant Chaplain in the Army, but honorably discharged due to skin cancer. In 2021, he founded Time Redeemers Podcast, which focuses on Israel, Prophecy, and other timely Bible subjects. He has also written several books on Christian growth, Biblical truths, and Bible translations. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday November 22, 2021 at Mountain Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn East Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday November 21, 2021 at Mountain Springs Baptist Church located at 2509 Mountain Springs Church Rd. Monroe, NC 28112. Pastor Ben loved the Word of God and preached it without apology. His main mission was to lead people to the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and to teach them the Word of God. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ and served Him with his whole heart and life. He loved his church family at Mountain Springs Baptist Church where he pastored the last two years. Ben Pierce was a loving husband and father to his children. He had the privilege to personally baptize all five of his children after their salvation. He was honored to officiate the weddings of his daughter Anastasia and son Elisha. He and his wife had twenty-six wonderful years of marriage. On November 18th, 2021, at 12:13 AM, Ben was called and transported to his heavenly home by his Lord Jesus Christ whom he loved and preached about since he was seventeen years old. His loving wife Aluna and oldest child Katerina were at his side and sung and prayed as the Lord called him to Glory.
