Chad R. Young, 48 of Clarence, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, from complications from Covid-19. He was born in Lock Haven on March 1, 1973 a son of Robert and Linda Rupert Young of Howard. He was a graduate of Bald Eagle Area class of 1991.

On May 18, 1996 he married the the love of his life, Melissa " Missy " Koleno. Chad was a heavy equipment operator for JEB Environmental Services, prior to that he was employed by Ultra, and before that for many years with Stone Valley Construction. He loved hunting, fishing, and racing go Karts.

Along with his wife and parents he is survived by a daughter, Brittany M., and a son, Austin, both of Clarence, a brother, Rich ( Marty ) Young of Beech Creek, and a Maternal grandmother, Genevieve Rupert of Lock Haven, and Many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and in-laws.

Friends will be received at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 West Main Street, Howard on Sunday November 21, 2021 from 4-6 P.M.. Burial will be private at Romola Cemetery, Howard.
