Ned Tyone Lavin

Our beloved Ned Lavin, 66, passed away at his home in Wasilla, AK on November 14, 2021. Ned was born to parents Niel and Helen Lavin in Anchorage, AK on October 3, 1955. Ned met the love of his life Julia M. Lavin and wed in Wasilla, AK on June 7, 1988. He served in the US Navy on the U.S.S. Paul Revere from 1973-1976. Ned enjoyed tinkering in his shop creating projects, spending time with his grandchildren, and having weekend adventures at the cabin he built. There will be a service for Ned at Matsu Covenant Church in Wasilla, AK on November 20th at 2PM. Officiated by Pastor Dave Dahms and Pastor Rick Millikin. Ned was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Julia Lavin; daughter Renaye Lavin (Jennifer); son's Trevor Lavin (Meghan); and Waylon Olsen, grandchildren Niilo, Kaypin, Lacey, Wade, and Kylee; sister Ginny Lavin-Robson (Rusty); brother Mike Lavin (Susan) and many nieces and nephews, and not to forget his faithful dog Gus.
