<p>It is with great sadness the family of Jerry Redford announces his passing in Athabasca, Alberta, on November 12th, 2021 at the age of 62 years.</p> <p>Jerry was born in Fort Smith, Northwest Territories on December 1st, 1958.</p> <p>Jerry was predeceased by his son: Trevor Curtis Gerald; granddaughter: Hope Haven; younger brother: Ernest Jr.; as well as his stepdad: Greg Goerhing.</p> <p>He is survived by his wife: Yvonne Redford; his mother: Agnes Simpson; father: Ernie Redford (Francine); his daughter: Dawn May; his three brothers: Darryl, Andy (Donna), Stan (Debbie); his sister: Sharon (Michael); his three granddaughters, Leah, Traelyn and Chloe; as well as &nbsp;numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many friends.</p> <p>Mom said that Jerry was a friend and a son that was always there. They could talk together and cry together.</p> <p>Jerry loved to play his guitar and sing. He had an incredible talent and could play any song he listened to. Jerry was kind and respectful. He was our warrior! Jerry was our gentle giant! Mom said that Jerry was a friend and a son that was always there. They could talk together and cry together.
