Frank Baird Scharff III, age 71, entered eternal rest on Thursday, November 19, 2021 at his home in Pineville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home.

Memorial Services for Mr. Scharff will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball. The visitation will begin on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Scharff II and Mary Rivero Scharff.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 43 years, Erin McCarey Scharff; son, Benjamin T. Scharff (Amy); daughter, Caitlin M. Jane`t (Kerry); honorary daughter, Amanda Ferguson Dauzart; sister, Diane Sartor; grandchildren, Christopher, Kaiah, Lorelei, and Tanner; nephew, Larry Sartor; and a host of friends.

Mr. Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He proudly served his country in the US Navy. He was passionate about music and was a vocal teacher for many years. That love of singing went over into church, where he led music for many years. He was also an avid Miami Dolphins Football fan. Mr. Frank will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.
