Geraldine Wells

It is with great sadness the family of the late Geraldine Wells announce her peaceful passing at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at the age of 66 years. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Emma White. Loving wife to her husband Larry, and precious mother to her children, Gloria (Neil) Epps, Leona Welsh, and Darlene (Frank) Jenkins; eight grandchildren: Oshun, Gabryel, Myah, Joshua, Nicholas, James, Travis and Dominque; along with three great-grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Ruby (Doug) Cooper, Susan (Elmo) Burt, Ernest and Charlie White, nieces and nephews’ other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Jean Watkins and Maisie Cutler and brother Bert White. The family would like to extend thanks and appreciation to the staff at Kingsway Living who treated her like family. Arrangements are in the care of Families funeral Home, 9 Forward Drive, Lewisporte, with visitation on Friday from 1-3pm. (Wearing of masks for everyone remains mandatory, along with proof of a vaccination passport as per government requirements) Funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 20th at 1pm from the Salvation Army Citadel in Lewisporte, by invitation only with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Lewisporte. As expressions of sympathy donations maybe made to assist the family.
