Lucy Odell Glass Brown, 92, of Calhoun, Georgia died on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at her residence. She was born on February 6, 1929 to the late Henry Dewitt Glass and Essie Lee Burkes Glass. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank Brown in May 2021; daughter, Freda Lynn Thomas; seven brothers and sisters, Irene Casey, Arvil Glass, Laurazell Cochran, Thelma Farmer, Tommy Glass, Jett Cochran and Rev. Marvin Glass.

Odell was a member of Concord Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Randy (Felicia) Franklin Brown and Marty Brown; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Chris) Thomason Patterson, Brandon Brown, Bradley (Traci) Brown, Jason (Sydney) Thomason, and Rachael Thomason Hoyle; brother and sister-in-law,  Bro. J.E. and Lucy Glass.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 21, 2021, from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm at Concord Baptist Church.

The funeral will follow the visitation at 3:30 pm from Concord Baptist Church with Bro. Randy Sutherland officiating assisted by Bro. David Park, Bro. Ellis Heffington and Bro. Mike Janow. The Morrison family will be in charge of the music. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. The grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
