Elizabeth Claire Belcourt Port Coquitlam, British Columbia Obituary

Elizabeth Claire Belcourt

It is with great sadness that after a brief illness, we announce the peaceful passing of Beth into the arms of her Lord and Saviour on Friday, November 12, 2021; she was 59 years young. Predeceased by her parents Clair Wilson of Calgary, AB and Jean Wilson (Holowachuk) of Regina, SK. She is survived by her beloved children Robyn Belcourt (Chris Burge) of Grand Prairie, AB and Cory Belcourt (Kendra) of Port Coquitlam, BC. She leaves behind her adored grandchildren, Bentley, Jacob, Cohen and Adalynn, along with her loving sisters Nadine McRae (Dary]) of Ottawa, ON, Brenda Twombly of Medicine Hat, AB and Andrea Archer (Glenn) of Crossfield, AB. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, close friends and church family. Beth was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister, a quietly loyal friend to many, a truly faithful follower in her Christian faith, and an amazingly talented artist! Her love of nature and all God's creatures presented itself early in life. She loved hiking and camping trips as a child, which continued in her adult life, with beach walks being a favourite activity. She collected pictures in her mind and through the lens of her camera that she put onto paper in a truly unique and beautiful way. It was never work for her, the pen just flowed with the endless designs in her head to produce beautiful felt pen art on paper. Her passion will live on through the 100s of pictures she created, the Richmond Banner contest that she won 4 times and the countless cards she handmade As her spirit lives on, we ask you to join us in a Celebration of her Life Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 10 am at the Lighthouse Church at 5545 Ladner Trunk Road, Delta, BC. Proof of Covid Vaccination will be required upon entrance to the church. Family and friends so wishing may make memorial donations in Beth's name to the Canadian Cancer Society @ cancerfoundation.com or Crossroads Inlet CentreHospice,101 Noons Drive, Port Moodv.BC,V3H 5J1 or @ crossroadshospice.org Special thanks to the Palliative Care Team at Delta Hospital and the amazing, compassionate care provided at Crossroads Hospice. *Life brings tears, smiles and memories!
