Ola Faye Hunt, age 88, of Wright City, Oklahoma, went Home to be with the Lord & Savior on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. She was born on July 6, 1933 in Valliant, OK (Mound Grove Community) to Cecil and Ola Ree (Bryant) Bacorn.

Ola Faye lived most of her life in Wright City, Oklahoma and graduated from Wright City High School. She worked alongside her former husband, Preston McGough (deceased) and present husband of 33 years, Troy Hunt, on their poultry and cattle farm located in the Herndon Community (for several years). She enjoyed being with family at every opportunity, but especially during the holiday seasons. She was a member of the Wright City First Assembly of God for many years where she worshipped her Lord & Savior faithfully. Her church family was important to her for whom she loved. She was an immaculate house keeper and a great cook. She and Troy enjoyed the outdoors, especially deer season when they camped with their long-time friends Don & Wanda Seals. She was a very kind and loving person, always willing to help family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Ola Ree (Bryant) Bacorn; first husband, Preston McGough; sister, Lorea (Polly) Hamill; and brother-in-law, Joe C. Hamill.

She is survived by husband, Troy Hunt of Wright City, Oklahoma; six stepchildren, Donna Black, Pamela Kenyon, Dennis Hunt, Mike Hunt, Bruce Hunt, Judy Merker; one sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Earl Wright of Wright City, Oklahoma; a special cousin and friend, Pat Dean; several nephews and one niece; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Ola Faye's life will be held at the Brumley Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, November 22, 2021 with Bro. Lynn Gaskey officiating. Interment will follow at Moran Memorial Cemetery at Mound Grove (north of Valliant, Oklahoma). Viewing for family and friends will be held during general business hours at the Brumley Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
