<p>(AKRON)</p><p>Ray Allen Brucker, age 72, died November 17, 2021 in Buffalo General Hospital following a long illness. He was born January 19, 1949 in Batavia to Franklin and Elnora (Wruck) Brucker and was a life-long resident of this area. Ray was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a family man who enjoyed working on his Hobby Farm. His family was his life and dearly loved his wife, son and daughter-in-law as well as his bird “Doink” and his dog “Riley”. Mr. Brucker was predeceased by his brother: Henry and two sisters: Frances and Lucille. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Elizabeth “Liz”, his son: Frank (Mikala Hodge) Brucker of Middleport, his bird “Doink” and his beloved beagle, “Riley”. There will be no prior calling hours. Service and interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wolcottsville Fire Dept., 6337 Wolcottsville R., Akron, NY, 14001.
