Dennis John Kelly, 57, of Newington, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at his home. He was a lifelong resident of Newington and the youngest son of the late Mary (Sheehan) Kelly. He was previously employed by CT Children’s Medical Center, Hartford Orthopedic Associates and most recently Hartford Hospital. Dennis formerly played softball for many years and was an avid Red Sox fan. He enjoyed his annual trips to Ogunquit, Maine and was known for his sense of humor, giving nature and flashy clothing choices. Dennis had a heart of gold and beautiful green eyes. He will be dearly missed by his adored niece and nephews. He leaves his nephews, Robert, Sean and Michael Kelly and his niece Savannah Kelly. He also leaves his beloved canine companion Lola. He now joins his brothers William and Brian who passed before him. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, November 22, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Newington Memorial, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington.
