Florence E. (Savitski) Kochuk, 77, Wethersfield 

It is with heavy hearts that we have to tell you about the passing of our mom, Florence E (Savitski) Kochuk on November 13, 2021.  

Throughout the years, she has been known by many names, daughter, granddaughter, niece, sister, aunt, mother, mom, ma. But there was no name that she was prouder of being called than gram, grammy, grandma, GG and babci. 

Florence was born December 29, 1943 in Hartford, to the late Theodore and Kazimira  “Charlotte” (Zawisza) Savitski. She enjoyed many hobbies including painting in oils, gardening, cooking and baking to mention just a few. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow throughout the years and took great pride in everything they did and considered each one a blessing as the numbers grew. 

She leaves to mourn her passing her daughters, Angela (Brooke) Tegge and MaryAnne Niver and her son, Samuel (Janel) Kochuk. 11 grandchildren, Jaimie, Christopher, Samantha, Alex, Benjamin, Ryan, Rachelle, Brandon, Jennifer, Sara, and Brooke Jr. 15 great grandchildren, Taylor, Logan, Aiden, Alex Jr, Paige, Lilly, Jake, Riley, Jacob, Miles, Daisy, Lily, Weston, Doug and Lilly. Her sisters Loretta (Robert) Stula, Regina “Ginka” Butova, Theodora “Teddy” Begun, Marcella “Marsha” (Gene) Maiorano, Judy (Richard) Ladegard, Linda (James Randolph) Riel, her brother Charles “Chucky” (Gai) Savitski and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandson Robert Kochuk, son-in-law Robert Niver and two brother-in laws Joseph “Sonny” Butova and Michael Begun.  

Funeral services have been entrusted to Luddy & Peterson’s Funeral Home & Crematory. A celebration of life for Florence will be held on Saturday, December 4th, 2021 at her home, 274 Forest Drive, Wethersfield, Ct from 2-5pm.
