Ms. Mary Jane &quot;Janie&quot; Jenkins, age 51, of Laurens, SC, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Prisma Health Laurens County Hospital. <br><br>Born in Greenville, SC , Janie was the daughter of the late Eugene Jenkins and Barbara Hembree. She was preceded in death by her sister Judy Jenkins and her brothers Donnie Jenkins and Randell Jenkins. <br><br>Janie leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children Mimi Jenkins (Jeffrey Levens) of Ninety Six, SC and William Smith (Janna) of Laurens, SC; grandchildren, Tori Moates, Nick Moates, Sadie Levens, Wiliam Smith Jr, Moana Smith, and Carter Smith; nieces and nephews, Chris Jenkins (Brianna), Marcus Jenkins (Stephanie), Shawn Jenkins, Ashley Jenkins, Jasmine Jenkins, Kyle Jenkins, and Eric Jenkins; great-nieces and nephews, Jackson Plaia, Scarlett Martin, and Isaac Martin; a host of cousins and friends<br><br>Janie attended Greenville County public schools, and worked in the healthcare industry for years. She had such a love for others, and sacrificed so much in doing for others. Her favorite bible verse was John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.&quot; <br><br>The family will take visitors at: 2126 Scotts Ferry Road, Ninety-Six, SC. A memorial will be held on Sunday, November 21 at Reedy Grove Church which is located at: 6608 Riverfork Road, Waterloo, SC 29384. Visitors are welcome to come beginning at 5:30pm. Floyd Family Funeral Home and friends of the family will be handling all arrangements.
