<p><br /> Joseph P. Carasone, formerly of Woodbridge and Seymour CT succumbed from complications of dementia, strokes, and pneumonia, Monday November 15, 2021 at Yale New Haven Hospital.<br /> Joseph was born September 7, 1934 in the Woodbridge Flats to Frank Carasone and Roselina (Amato) Carasone. He had two brothers, Frank (Kaki) Carasone and Raymond Carasone.<br /> Joseph was the founder and owner of Carasone&rsquo;s Fuel Oil, which he operated until his retirement.<br /> Joseph was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and enjoyed Cashword scratch tickets and watching &ldquo;The Game Show Network.&rdquo;<br /> He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Roselina and his brother Frank (Kaki).<br /> Survivors include: his brother Raymond Carasone of Prospect; four children , Joseph J. Carasone of Naugatuck, CT, Eric Carasone of Meriden, JoAnn Carasone of Seymour, Rose Carasone Harris (John) of East Haven, his grandchildren, Kyle Daugherty of Hamden, Shannon Flynn (William) of South Carolina, Aja Rose Carasone of Seymour, and Matthew Harris (Jordan), and Erica Harris. His nephews Robert Carasone (Tammy) of Terryville and Christopher Carasone (Tricia) of Naugatuck.<br /> Funeral services are private at the request of the family. There are no calling hours. Interment in East Side Cemetery, Woodbridge, CT.<br /> May my father&rsquo;s body, soul, and spirit find eternal rest and peace in the loving arms of Our Savior Jesus Christ.<br /> &nbsp;</p>

Joseph was born September 7, 1934 in the Woodbridge Flats to Frank Carasone and Roselina (Amato) Carasone. He had two brothers, Frank (Kaki) Carasone and Raymond Carasone.
Joseph was the founder and owner of Carasone’s Fuel Oil, which he operated until his retirement.
Joseph was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and enjoyed Cashword scratch tickets and watching “The Game Show Network.”
