Mary Jane DeBrock, age 77 of Cape Girardeau, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born on September 23, 1944 in Glennon, Missouri the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Broshuis DeBrock. Mary worked for VIP for over 48 ½ years, and started working for the Marble Hill VIP in 1972 and transferred to the Cape Girardeau VIP in 1980. She was a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Survivors include her brothers William “Bill” (Betty) DeBrock of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Bernard (Rosemary) DeBrock of Oran, Missouri, sisters Dorothy Heuring of Oran, Missouri and Theresa (Delwin) Elfrink of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant sister Betty Jane DeBrock. Visitation will be Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 9:00 until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Glennon, Missouri, with Father Antony Thekkanath officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
