Loretta Price affectionately known as Ret- Ret was born on July 7, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois to Arletha

Delma Price and Nathan Price.

Loretta confessed her life to Christ at an early age. She loved the Lord and rededicated her life to Christ. She attended  St. James African Methodist Episcopal Church on  92^nd and Lafayette until her transition.

 Loretta received her education from Chicago Public Schools where she graduated from CVS high school.

Loretta was a loving and caring mother, sister and grandmother. Loretta loooooved social media including Facebook cooking groups and TikTok, she also loved music. Loretta enjoyed making people laugh, she was the life of the party and would make sure she kept in touch with her family and friends.

Loretta was employed at the University of Chicago for many years as an EKG Technician.

 Loretta departed this life on Sunday November 14, 2021.

Loretta was proceeded in death by her mother and father.

Loretta leaves to cherish her memory her one and only daughter, Shantella Palmer; five siblings: Kathryn Cooper, Kevin, Keith Eugene, Kimberly and Karyn Banks; one special cousin Rochelle Cohen; one loving and devoted granddaughter, Simone Harper; one loving and devoted grandson, Shannon Harper and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
