Marley Elizabeth Goldschmidt of Havertown, Pa. passed away on November 14th, 2021. Marley is the loving daughter of Joseph T. Goldschmidt and Ellen M. Fulton. She is the loving sister of Joseph, Jr., Megan and Caroline. She is survived by her beloved dog Mikey, who she rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico. Marley was born in Bryn Mawr Hospital on June 10, 1991. She is a graduate of St. Denis Elementary School and Merion Mercy Academy (Class of ’09) where she was an honors student and won the French award. Marley went on to attend Pennsylvania State University where she was in the Schreyer Honors College and earned bachelors degrees in Economics and Political Science and minored in French (Class of December ‘12). She also earned a Masters in Law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (Class of ’18). Marley was the Associate Director of Finance at the Annenberg School of Communications of the University of Pennsylvania. Marley loved to learn about cuisines from around the world and was an excellent cook. She loved entertaining and preparing amazing meals for her loved ones and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family at the shore and was the life of the party at the annual gathering of family and friends at French Creek state park. She travelled throughout Europe and was an excellent trip planner and guide. She had a sharp wit and sense of humor. She loved dogs, the outdoors, music and interior design. But most of all she was a generous devoted daughter, sister and friend. Everyone knew they could count on Marley for everything and anything. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home of John Stretch 236 East Eagle Road Havertown, Pa. 19083 and also to her Mass of Christian Burial following at 11 am in St. Denis Church 2401 St. Denis Lane Havertown, Pa. 19083.
