<p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>MANCHESTER- Mrs. Rita E. (Bellerose) Bellerose, 88, of Manchester, passed away on November 15, 2021 with loving family by her side.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Born in Allenstown on February 25, 1933, she was the eldest daughter of the late Octave and Alice (Felix) Bellerose.&nbsp; She lived in Hooksett for 46 years before moving back to Allenstown in 2001 and later resided in Manchester for the past four years.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>She attended Mount St. Mary Seminary formerly of Hooksett and was a graduate of St. Joseph&rsquo;s High School for Girls Class of 1951.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a bookkeeper, last working for the former Emerson Manufacturing and Emerson Lounge Co. in Pembroke.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>In earlier years, she played the piano with small dance bands.&nbsp; She later played the organ for a short time at Holy Rosary Church in Hooksett and after moving back to Allenstown, she became a choir member and keyboard player at St. John the Baptist Church.&nbsp; She was an avid reader, especially the old classics.&nbsp; Dickens was her favorite author.&nbsp; She loved studying the bible as well as genealogy.&nbsp; She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and embroidering as well as working in her flower and vegetable gardens at home in Hooksett.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Roland L. Bellerose.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>She is survived by her sister, Claire Carey of Manchester, two godchildren, Roger J. Bellerose, Jr. and Richard R. Normand, Jr.&nbsp; She was an honorary godmother to Suzanne Labonville of Myrtle Beach, SC.&nbsp; She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and her dear childhood friend since the age of 5, Henriette Girard.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>In accordance with her wishes, burial will take place privately at a later date.&nbsp; Assisting the family with arrangements is the Petit-Roan Funeral Home in Pembroke.&nbsp; To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.petitroan.com</strong></span></p>

MANCHESTER- Mrs. Rita E. (Bellerose) Bellerose, 88, of Manchester, passed away on November 15, 2021 with loving family by her side.

Born in Allenstown on February 25, 1933, she was the eldest daughter of the late Octave and Alice (Felix) Bellerose.  She lived in Hooksett for 46 years before moving back to Allenstown in 2001 and later resided in Manchester for the past four years.
