Mykeilah Vernae Holtz-Brown

Mykeilah Vernae Holtz-Brown, age 23 of Litchfield, passed away November 12, 2021, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2021, from 3:00-6:00 PM at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral and Cremation Service in Litchfield with a Prayer Service at 3:00 PM.

Mykeilah Vernae Holtz-Brown, the daughter of Joe Alvin Brown and LuAnn Vernae Gimse Holtz, was born April 6, 1998, in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. As Mykeilah was growing up, she lived in Minnesota, South Carolina and Wisconsin. She then resided in St Paul, Minnesota.

Mykeilah had a bubbly personality, a great sense of humor and a smile that would light up any room! She adored children and loved being a caretaker to others. She loved music and dancing! She enjoyed flowers and playing the cello. Her favorite foods were fried chicken and macaroni and cheese. She very much disliked tacos.

Mykeilah is survived by her fiancée Laura Sao of St. Paul, MN; parents Joe (Tarja) Brown of Litchfield, MN; siblings: Jennifer (Holtz) and Craig Fearing of Monticello, MN, Orrin Holtz of Ahwatukee, AZ, Sadie (Holtz) and Tim Tyler of Mercer, WI, Tikki (Brown) and Sean Huntley of Minneapolis, MN, Levette Brown of St. Paul, MN, Joel and Robin Brown of New Hope, MN, Jon Brown of Minneapolis, MN, Greg and Jessica Brown of St. Cloud, MN, Sean Brown of Columbia Heights, MN, Michael Brown of  Prescott, AZ, Lane Brown of Minneapolis, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother LuAnn Vernae Gimse Holtz, sister Elena Melissa Brown and her grandparents.
