Simone passed away at Delwynda Court (PCH), Deloraine, Manitoba. <br /> She was predeceased by Lloyd Adams, her husband of 62 years. Simone is survived by her three children - Doug Adams (Donna), Diane Short (Ron Short), and Leonard Adams and her brother George Janssens. <br /> Simone was predeceased by her sister, Yvonne Vanrobaeys, brother- in- law, Alex Vanrobaeys , twin brother, Gaston Janssens, sister-in- law, Rachel Janssens and sister-in-law, Leona Janssens (George Janssens). Simone’s parents were Henri and Irma Janssens who had immigrated to Canada from Ruddervoorde, Belgium.<br /> Simone met Lloyd Adams in 1945 and later married on November 12,1947 in Brandon, Manitoba. They farmed together near Goodlands, Manitoba with Mel and Gladys Adams in the early years until their retirement in 1975. <br /> Simone enjoyed her large garden on the farm and during retirement in Deloraine. She took up golfing which she thoroughly enjoyed with her golfing partner, Vera Shaw and other friends.<br /> Simone and Lloyd travelled to British Columbia often to visit Doug and Donna and her grandchildren, Angela (Bill) Spencer (Salmon Arm) and Brad Adams (Kelowna). She also made trips to Vancouver to visit Diane along with grandchildren, Ashley (Raphael) and Nelson Short. She was blessed with two great grandchildren, Liam and Saige Spencer, who adored stories of “Grandma Simone”. <br /> She enjoyed her time at Doug and Donnas ‘lake house on the Shuswap Lake in British Columbia. <br /> A private Celebration of Life will be held at the Rendezvous Restaurant on Nov. 18 2021.<br /> In lieu of flowers, donations can made to the Delwynda Court (PCH) or the Deloraine Palliative Care Team - Deloraine Health Centre, PO Box 447, Deloraine, Manitoba, R0M-0M0.</p> <p> </p>March 29, 1925 - November 15, 202103/29/192511/15/2021
