Michael DiVanna, Sr., Gettysburg, PA passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born July 27, 1959 in Somerville, NJ the son of the late Lorraine DiCanto DiVanna and Joseph Alfred DiVanna of South Abington, PA. Mike married Pamela Blair DiVanna, June 15, 2012. Michael was a member of Lower Marsh Creek Presbyterian Church. He was a graduate of Smithsburg High School and earned an Associate Degree in PLC Programming. He has worked on farms, as an ironworker, mechanic, electronics technician, PLC Programmer, Industrial Refrigeration Specialist, He was employed at Frick Company in Waynesboro, PA as a programmer and later for Johnson Controls in Waynesboro. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, riding his motorcycle and playing his guitar. He served two terms as President of his local Union. In addition to his wife, Michael is survived by a son, Michael DiVanna, Jr. and his wife Kelsey of Waynesboro, PA, a granddaughter, Annabelle Grace DiVanna, a sister, Lori DiVanna of Lake Worth Beach, FL, two brothers; Joseph DiVanna of Braintree, United Kingdom, and Anthony “Tony” DiVanna of Covington, GA. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 11 AM from Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg, PA with Rev. Dr. Mark Englund-Krieger and Rev. Dale Williams officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
