Marlow: Mildred Irene Condit, 79, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021 in Marlow.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at the Glory Bound Church, with Rev. David Woods officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Irene was born Sunday, March 1, 1942 in Las Cruces, NM, to Walter Woods and Leona Mae (Diner) Sullivan. She was raised in Doyle and attended Doyle Public Schools. Irene had lived in the Foster area most of her life and worked in Home Health Care. She married Jerry Luther Condit on November 5 ,1960 at Pearl Church in Foster. Irene was a phenomenal cook and enjoyed cooking everything from roast to red velvet cakes. She was also a little on the spunky side, enjoyed giving everyone around her a hard time, and she was never afraid to express her opinion. Irene had a green thumb and loved working in her flower beds and taking good care of them. She also enjoyed doing word searches, putting together puzzles, and was an exceptional dominoes player. More than anything else, Irene loved her family and will be missed by all.

Survivors include 2 sons, Curtis Condit and wife Misti of Lone Grove, and Terry Condit of Foster, daughter, Diane Condit of Foster, 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, brother, Phillip Woods and wife Pam of Marlow, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents, and 3 sisters, Marie Allen, Quintella Shelton, and Peggy Upchurch, 4 brothers, Bill Woods, Shorty Woods, Thurman Woods, and Irish Woods.

Pallbearers will be: Eldon Keck, Butch Graham, Rowdy Logue, Curtis Condit, Brandon Robinson, and Danny Kelly

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Donnie Cunningham and Michael Condit.
