<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;"><span style="font-size:18px;">EUNICE ~ It is with the heaviest hearts that the family of Ethel A. Hale announces her passing on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at her home surrounded by loved ones at the age of 83. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Burial will follow in&nbsp;Mt. Calvary Cemetery.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;"><span style="font-size:18px;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ethel loved to go garage selling and loved her plants. She enjoyed being with her children, sisters, and family, but most of all she was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend and remembered by all, especially by her children, Mike Hale and wife, Shirley of Breaux Bridge, Wanda Veillon and husband, Billy of Centerville, and Darlene Mire and husband, Christopher of Iota; her sisters, Rose LaFleur of Basile, Iris Langley of Basile, and Mildred Vincent and husband, Jimmy of Iowa; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;"><span style="font-size:18px;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Hale; daughters, Debbie Stroderd and Karen Veillon; parents, Paul and Amelie LeJeune Arabie; siblings, Anthony Arabie, Paul Arabie, Jr., Ruby Matte, and Cecile Deshotel;&nbsp;granddaughter, Alesia Stroderd; and great grandson, Jaxon Walter Veillon.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;"><span style="font-size:18px;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin&rsquo;s Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday, November 15th from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Tuesday, November 16th from 8:00 am until time of services.     Ethel loved to go garage selling and loved her plants.
