Henrietta R. Storms Allen, 94, of Linton, Indiana, passed from this life, on Friday, November 12, 2021, at her home surrounded by family. She was born on December 11, 1926, in Bend, Oregon to Louis and Emma (Peltier) Pouchain. On June 30th, 1944, Henrietta became the wife of Roy Leon ‘Skeeter’ Storms, who preceded in death in 1981.  On November 13th, 2001, she wed a second time to Bruce Allen

Henrietta attended the Linton First Christian Church and was a member of the Linton Ladies Civitan Club for many years. She owned and operated Skeet Storms Super Automotive for 38 years and retired from work in 2006.

Family left to cherish the memories of Henrietta include: her spouse, Bruce Allen; two sons, Terry (Barbara) Storms of Florida and Shane (Lisa) Stormes of Linton; two daughters, Arla Helderman of Fairfield, IL and Dustie (Dave) O’Bryan of Linton; 11 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

Henrietta was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Roy ‘Skeeter’ Storms; granddaughter, Skeeter Dee Durnil; son-in-law, Terry Lee Helderman; sisters, Julia Shelton, Anna Haffley, Leona Lechien, Virginia Duffroy; and brother, Leon Lechien.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 17th, 2021, at Meng Family Funeral Home / Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Pastor Warren Shake officiating. Henrietta will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 16th and from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Contributions in Henrietta’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
