Kenneth Power, 63 years old passed in peace, Saturday, November 13 surrounded by his immediate family after a brief and devastating battle with cancer.

Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Heather Power and three children Michelle, Mark, Melanie and their families. As well as a large circle of friends.

Kens love for life, laughter and his contagious smile didn’t end with his passing. Many stories and memories have been brining smiles to everyone who knew him on the darkest of days. Ken always had a smile on his face and a joke on his lips.

Just like he dealt with all experiences, Ken managed his illness with strength, grace and wanted to spend as much time with loved ones as possible.

Ken will be remembered by family and friends as a loving, hands on father, poppy and friend. As a close friend of the family said “you’ll never knit another one like Ken Power”.

The family would like to express sincere gratitude to anyone who provided support during this difficult time.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm November 17 at The Memorial United Church in Bonavista with no capacity restrictions.
