Paula K. Flaherty, 55, passed away at home on Friday, November 12, 2021 surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born February 17, 1966 in Willimantic, CT, the daughter of the late Robert and Lorraine (Dutil) Lucey.  Paula worked as a housekeeper and dietary aide at St. Joseph Living Center for many years.  She played softball locally for the W.S.A.G.W.  Her all-time favorite hobby was going to the beach.  If the sun was shining, that was where you would find her spending quality time with her loved ones.  Paula is survived by her husband Shawn Flaherty of Willimantic; three daughters, Jessica Joslyn of South Windham, Katelyn Joslyn of Willimantic, Samantha Joslyn and her fiancé Zachary Cushing of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Hailey, Kiera, Cameron, Kyle and Mackenzie. 

Paula’s family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic.
