She taught many students computer programming and system development. She retired from the State of Connecticut where she was a Systems Administrator. Abbie was most happy at her beloved small farm in Hampton, raising and selling vegetables at local farmers markets running a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), and caring for her many animals. She was so connected to her animals that she could even get a goat to do what she wanted it to. She was an incredible cook with her potato salad and cole slaw recipes always in high demand at gatherings. She loved to debate and would argueher position tirelessly and logically. She was a wife, mother, professional, fun loving, and always kind and caring person. Ever the optimist finding light in the darkest situations. Above all, her family was the most important thing in her life. Abbie was one of the true gems of this world and will never be forgotten.
