Mary Lou Waller of Ponca City died early Thursday morning, November 11, 2021 at Alliance Health. Graveside service will be 2pm, Monday, November 15th, 2021 at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601. Grandsons: B.J. Waller, Brett Waller, Blake Waller, Park Waller, Grayson Waller, Tanner Lee, and Dalton Lee will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Waller was born March 7, 1938, in Ada, OK. The daughter of Royce Alexander Brewster and Esther Branch (Adams) Brewster. She attended school in Ponca City and graduated Po-Hi class of 1956. On March 5, 1956 she married Raymond Dale Waller in Ponca City. In 1956, they moved to Maywood, CA, and in 1957 moved back to Ponca City, OK. Mrs. Waller worked at Kay & Murray movie theaters. Mary Lou retired from Farm Fresh Dairy in 1990. She was a member of Sunset Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking for her large family and loved her grandkids & greats. Mary Lou was an avid bowler and bowled nationals in Florida, Vegas, Kansas City and Denver. Mary was an OU sports fan (Boomer Sooner), and also enjoyed Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and Days of Our Lives. Survivors include: husband Raymond of 65 1/2 years, two sons Gary Waller, Bill Waller (Kim), and one daughter Dede Waller, all of Ponca City. One brother Richard Brewster of Ponca City, one sister Pauline McCurtain of Edmond, one sister in law Jeanie Brewster of Ardmore, seven grandsons, ten greats, and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Waller was preceded in death by 3 brothers Eugene Brewster, James Brewster, and Jimmy Brewster, one sister Alta Cooper, and parents Royce and Branch Brewster. Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Waller's name to Sunset Baptist Church, 915 Greenwood Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601. Huge Thank you to Lori and Mandy from Precise Home Health. She tried to make every grandkids and greats sporting events and school events, until her short battle with cancer. She was truly the best!
