Patricia “Patty” Sonnier, 51, of Brooklyn, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Forrest General Hospital. Visitation will be Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 1 – 3 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg with services immediately following at 3 p.m. Mrs. Sonnier was of the Baptist faith. She loved collecting antiques, crafts, decorating, and was an excellent cook. She also loved being by the water. She had a Gypsy soul and a heart of gold. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerdis and Pat Seals and one brother, Gerdis Seals, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Bud Sonnier of Brooklyn; two sons, Dale Sonnier of Bay St. Louis and Masin Sonnier (Amanda) of Brooklyn; one daughter, Nikki Margarejo of Metairie, La.; ten grandchildren, Alyassa, Logan, Jayleigh, Ryleigh, Albrey, Izaak, Kyesin, Raiden, Emerald, Montana, and Logan F.; ten siblings, Corie January of Bay St. Louis, Joseph Seals of Pennsylvania, Tommy “Ebb” Seals of Pennsylvania, Chris Harmon of Bay St. Louis, Vikki Friese of Pennsylvania, Christine Miller of Pennsylvania, Robbie Fisher of Bay St. Louis, Jamie Weaver of Pennsylvania, Ivy Lathan of Pennsylvania, and Ashley Green of Bay St. Louis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
