Donna Plaskett
<p>Donna (Anderson) Plaskett, age 76, died peacefully on November 8, 2021. Donna was originally from Boston, MA, and a long time resident of Harwinton, CT, where she was married for 51 years to her husband, Roger Plaskett. She was the daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Lawd) Anderson.</p> <p>She is survived by one son, Greg Plaskett and his wife Christine of Canton, CT; two grandchildren, Colleen and Joshua Plaskett. The grandkids will deeply miss their ‘Little Nana’. </p> <p>She was preceded in death by her son, Dan Plaskett. Her heart will be full to be reunited with Dan. </p> <p>She also leaves behind family members - sisters, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many good friends.</p> <p>She was a nurse for her entire career, working at The Country Place in Litchfield CT and Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington CT, where she eventually retired. </p> <p>Donna will be remembered as the mom, the sister, the auntie, the friend who took take care of them all.</p> <p>You could find her caring for her family, baking in her kitchen and having coffee with friends. She enjoyed time relaxing, walking or sitting by the pool with her husband and ‘Dash’, the family dog. She loved the beach and spent many days with her feet in the sand with her friends. </p> <p>The family would like to thank all the Doctors and their staff for their excellent care of Donna in the last few days of her life.</p> <p>Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, CT.</p> <p>Burial will follow immediately after at West Cemetery on Cemetery Road, Harwinton CT at 12:00 p.m.</p> <p>Memorial contributions can be made to The United Leukodystrophy Foundation (ULF) in honor of Dan Plaskett. </p>Obituary
