Josefina was born September 1, 1961 in Ciudad Valles, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, the daughter of Benito and Agustina (Gonzales) Hernandez. She was united in marriage to Francisco Larios July 4, 1983 in Matehuala, San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

She was a home maker, cancer survivor and faithful member of the St. James Catholic Church. She enjoyed her family and cooking.

Survivors include her husband Francisco of Washington; children Francisca Berenice Larios Hernandez, Adhali Larios and wife Jennifer of Washington and Marlene Larios of Washington; seven grandchildren with one on the way; two brothers and four sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

From Marlene- November 9th at 6pm my mother had her last breath. Her decade long suffering had finally came to an end. No more late night hospital calls, no more endless bottles of medications to pick up, no more doctor appointment scheduling also, means no more late night phone calls filled with advice, no more home cooked meals, no more hugs and kisses. She was a person who was stubborn and full of warrior energy. She had a heart strong in faith and love for her family so grand that you could feel the sincerity in her words even if they were tough to hear sometimes. She was not afraid to tell you her opinion which made her even more admirable. She passed away in the hospital fighting till the very end. Our warrior of a mother who showed the doctors time and again that miracles exist. May she Rest In Peace to the mother who has suffered too much in this world.  [❤️]
