Christopher Robert Dockrey passed away at the age of 44 at his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born February 10, 1977, in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Robert Edward Dockrey and Iris Renee McGee. He grew up in Brooksville, Oklahoma and was a high school graduate. He attended Seminole State College and Rhema Bible College. He married Loretta Gross on August 11, 2001, at Woodward Park in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Christopher was a talented musician, songwriter, guitarist and singer.

Christopher is survived by his wife; Loretta ( Gross)  Dockrey, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, his mother; Iris Renee McGee, his daughter; Laveda Dockrey, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, his brothers; Theodore Dockrey and his wife Jessica and Joseph Dockrey, his sisters; Malita Green and her husband Michael and Candace Dockrey. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Dockrey and his grandparents Lee and Laveda Dockrey.

Casket Bearers will be; Ted Dockery, Mike Green, Daniel Gross, Ferdinand Gross, and Joseph Dockrey. Honorary bearer will Jascha Tobias.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 15, 2021 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Shawnee, Oklahoma with Pastor Eddie Riley officiating, along with speakers, Ted Dockrey and Stefan Pischedda. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery on Garrett’s Lake Road in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
