Obituary
Mildred Marie (Fletcher) Westbrook, 90, of Rowlesburg, WV, died on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at her home with her family by her side.
Mildred was born April 8, 1931, in Reedsville (Bethlehem Community) a daughter of Lester Amon and Lola (Johnson) Fletcher.
She enjoyed doing puzzles, coloring, watching the wildlife and watching her football games while yelling at the player even during a replay. Mildred cherished her family and friends, leaving those of us who knew her with precious memories.
She is survived by three daughters and spouses, Bonnie & George Haenftling of Accident, MD, Betty & Joe Mayne of Tunnelton, Carolyn & Joseph Sparenberg of Rowlesburg; one son and spouse, Danny & Lois Westbrook of Masontown; two brothers, Eugene Fletcher of Delaware, Henry Fletcher of Morgantown; one sister, Shirley Taylor of Whitesburg, TN; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, James Sherman Westbrook; two daughters, Donna Akers and Brenda Lee Westbrook at birth; one granddaughter Spring Agnes Westbrook; three brothers, Charles, James and Sam Fletcher; one sister, Martha Lambert.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel; 295 South Price Street, on Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 4-6pm and Friday, November 12, 2021, from 6-8pm and Saturday, November 13, 2021, 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ray Frankhouser officiating.
Interment will follow at the Bethlehem Cemetery. Social distancing and masks are required. Personal condolences may be offered to the family online at www.rotruck-lobb.com.
