Larry Thomas Powell, age 75 of Wake Forest passed away on November 3, 2021.  He was born on July 17, 1946 in Wake Forest NC to the late Ray Thomas Powell and Juanita Keith Powell. He worked at Mallinckrodt from 1970-2008.  He attended Faith Harvest and loved his Forever Young Community.  He loved to fish, and was a grill/smoker master and loved barbecuing for his friends and family. 

He is predeceased by his daughter Jennifer Powell and wife Frances Powell and brother Frank Powell.  He is survived by his son Chris Powell, stepsons Kevin Van Gorder (Melissa) and Greg Van Gorder, sisters Edna Lynn Powell and Cheryl Powell Kinney (Stacey) and brother Richard Powell (Elizabeth).
