HERRIGES, WESLEY PAUL, age 50, of Oxford, Michigan passed away November 8, 2021. Born in Detroit, Michigan on April 8, 1971 to loving parents James Wesley and Sheila Paulette (née Fann) Herriges; beloved husband of 34 years to a Shannon Herriges (née Lyons); Cherished father of Corey (Breanne) Herriges, Katelyn (Kourtni) Herriges, Savannah (Brandon) Herriges, and Summer (Kalvin) Scott; proud grandfather of Alex, Lilyanne, Trevor, Noah, Everly, and another grandchild on the way; dearest brother of Eric, Chris, Roy, and Celine. Loved by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Heather and Wendy. Wesley met the love of his life Shannon and married her April 29, 1995, and together they raised a beautiful family. He was a huge sports fan and loved everything that had to do with Detroit sports teams: the Tigers, Pistons, and the Lions. Wesley also appreciated cars that were made from Detroit, especially Ford. His most important treasure was his family, and he especially adored his grandchildren.
