Pamela Rae House Pate, 70, of Baytown was born May 10, 1945, in Oklahoma City, OK and passed away Monday, September 28, 2015, at Houston Methodist Hospital. She was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church and had a zest for life. She was known especially for her descriptive letter writing and kind heart. She enjoyed traveling to Hawaii each year and was a subscriber to the Houston Grand Opera and Ballet, the Houston Pops, the Theater Under The Stars, and the Houston Texans. She was preceded in death by her parents, Denver and Mary Jane House and son, Matthew A. "Matt" Pate. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Wilton Pate of Baytown and daughter, Mollie Pate of New Orleans, LA. Her family will start receiving friends at Faith Presbyterian Church, 3900 N. Main St., Baytown, TX 77521, on Thursday, October 1, 2015, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a funeral to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Jim Gill officiating. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in Highlands. Serving as pallbearers will be Benjamin Dominach, Charles Pate, Jason Pate, Tobey Hayes, Will Polling, and David Glaize.
