David Anthony Zaninelli
<p>David Anthony Zaninelli, 68 of Follansbee, WV, passed away at 7:54 PM on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV.</p><p><br></p><p>David was born on March 17, 1953 in Steubenville, OH. He was the son of Mary (Gagliani) Zaninelli and the late Silvio Zaninelli. </p><p><br></p><p>David retired after 30 years of service from Weirton Steel Corporation as a Boiler Room Operator. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Follansbee, WV. Many will remember David for being an all the way around handyman, the enjoyment of fishing, the Pittsburgh Steelers, working on cars and coaching his girls in softball; but most of all, for being a true family guy always being around home with this family and his animals being #1 Dad and Pap.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his father, David was preceded in death by his sister, Denise Zaninelli. </p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his mother, David is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carole (Bates) Zaninelli, two daughters, Melanie Zaninelli, both of Follansbee, WV and Melissa Zaninelli and her fiance', Brian Ware of St. Clairsville, OH, two grandchildren, Brax and Mila Ware, a sister, Wendy Russell and her husband, Doug of Weirton, WV and several loved nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>At the request of the family their will be no public viewing or service at this time.
