Carolyn Sue Swift

Carolyn Swift passed away on November 8, 2021. Her life will be celebrated with a viewing at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home located at 6123 Garth Rd Baytown, Tx on November 19th from 5 to 7 pm. Funeral Services will be November 20th starting at 11 am and burial after at Earthman Memory Gardens at 8624 Garth Rd Baytown, Tx.

Carolyn Sue Swift of Baytown, passed away on November 8, 2021. She was born in Liberty, Tx on July 1, 1952 to Leonard Cameron Criner and Helen Tigler Criner. She graduated from Dayton High School and attended college at Lee College & Prairie View A&M University.

She was a big ball of sunshine who never met a stranger ;Giving of herself completely to anyone in need. Her passions were cooking and sewing. She was a cook for over 50 years at The Rainbow Restaurant (Dayton), Lubys and IHOP. In her spare time, she would sew and craft items for anyone she felt needed a smile earning her the name "the sock sack lady" throughout the community.

She is proceeded in death by her father Leonard Criner Sr., mother Helen Tigler Criner and ex-husband Willard Cecil Swift Jr. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Kim Swift, April Swift Green and Bradley Swift. Her Siblings Mary Criner Williams, Leonard Criner Jr, Linda Stevenson, Jeannette Criner Daley and Dana Criner along with a host of grandchildren (Davan, Maya, Grant, Jared, Keaton ,Sadie and Mason, and a great
grandchild (Messiah).
