Larry Allen Mitchell

Larry A. Mitchell retired Chief Petty Officer served proudly for 22 years in the US Navy. He passed away in his home surrounded by his family. Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Mitchell. Larry is survived by his 3 children and their spouses, Michael and Kimberley Mitchell of Reeds, Mo, Gary and Teresa Mitchell of Pensacola FL and Cynthia and Armando Hernandez of San Antonio TX. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He also has 2 living brothers and 2 living sisters and a hoard of nieces and nephews. Larry aka Papa, was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather as well as a huge University of Oklahoma fan. Boomer Sooner! He was a very fun loving man who was very generous with everyone he met. He will be greatly missed. The family requests, that since Papa was such a huge OU fan, that those that attend wear OU attire if they have it.
