Funeral services for Brad Young, 52, of Monterey, LA will be held at Lismore Baptist Church on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Bro. Glenn Young and Bro. Ken Gilmore officiating. Interment will follow at Young Family Cemetery in Eva, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Lismore Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Brad was born on Friday, April 04, 1969 in Natchez, MS and passed away Monday, November 08, 2021 in Shreveport, LA. He was a hard worker in the fields and loved being a farmer. Brad enjoyed hunting for arrowheads on his down time. More importantly, Brad loved spending time with his children and was an amazing father. He was preceded in death by his father, Hart Young; paternal grandparents, RH "Dutch" Young and Della Lee Young; and maternal grandparents, Jeff Beard and Mamie Beard. Brad leaves behind his mother, Bernadette Beard Young; three children, Tyson, Zoee, and Bella Young; brother, Jeff Young & his wife Tasha; and sister, Jennifer Franklin & her husband Josh. He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, and other family and friends. Those honoring as pallbearers for Brad are Richard Young, James Young, Joel Young, Shane Young, Clay Young, Jude Young, Bryce Franklin, and Trent Franklin. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Foreman, Ryan Thompson, Lawrence Perritt, Greg Wigginton, Gary Wigginton, and Roger Mount.
