Mr. Timothy "Timmy John" Hunter, age 49, entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at his residence in Dry Prong. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home.

Services for Timmy John will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home at 1:00 o'clock with Pastor Kimsey and Bishop Roberts officiating. The visitation will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Interment will follow the services in Greenwood Cemetery in Pineville.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Algene and Velma Hunter; and aunt, Donna Ward.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Courtney Thompson and Jaelyn Hunter; father, Tim Hunter (Bobbye); mother, Joyce Rodriguez; sister, Tracie Hunter Murrell; Jaelyn's mother, Kerry Delcour; niece and nephew, Brandon Hunter (Crysty), Destiny Happ (Kyle); great nieces and nephews; Mikalyn, Cadynn, Josalyn Rose, and Gavynn Hunter; grandchildren, Bailey, Brooklyn, and Brentlee; and a host of extended family and friends.

Timmy John was a loving father, son, grandfather, and brother. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, listening to Rock music, and fishing. He loved people and was friendly to everyone he met. Timmy John like to tell jokes and make people laugh. He loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren deeply, and will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.
